While certainly interesting, the open world layout of this game only serves as a horrible annoyance while trying to complete missions on later levels. I very much enjoyed the attempt at originality, but the concepts did not work well in practice. Great early gameplay quickly turned to frustration for me.

Fantastic brawler, especially for the low download price. Great fun for four friends in co-op with the excitement of classic arcade brawlers like Gauntlet and Golden Axe, but with updated graphics and plenty of humor. A few bugs to be fixed in an update are the only downside.

I was a big fan of the Monopoly-meets Magic the Gathering gameplay of the PS2 version of this game, and the XBox360 version is basically the same thing with improved graphics and some new cards. Horrible single player story, but multiplayer is really the point of the game.

BEST GAME EVER. There is so much violence that my brain exploded.

So much for Sony claiming you can't fit high-def content on a normal DVD. This game has so much content in it, that everytime you turn it on you will interact with new characters. It is awesome.

Best of the series so far by a good margin. Fantastic story, characters, acting, gameplay, graphics, pacing and variety make for one of the best games of this console generation. Deserves all of the hype, this game is fucking awesome.

The absence of Katamari creator Keita Takahashi is evident in every aspect of this half-baked 'me too' sequel. All of the charm, wit, and musical joy has been hammered down into a big rolling pile of 'meh'. Stick with Katamari Damacy and We Love Katamari instead.

If you enjoy overpaying for a stripped down version of a game that has been released before, buy this game. Otherwise just buy "We Love Katamari" -- the predecessor on the PS2 which is better in almost every way.

As one of the first "Next-Gen" shooters, Gears is beautiful as long as you like the color gray. I loved the co-op campaign in Gears, but the single player campaign and online play could not keep my interest.
