While this series' the graphic violence and disturbing themes are often oddly cut by more light-hearted drama, this series is not for the weak at heart. However, this series can be poignant in a way many other anime aren't, and is one of my favorites.

Possibly the best from Gainax so far, and easily the most epic story in anime I have watched. An extensive cast of interesting characters and a unpredictable story that goes farther than you could imagine, fantastic art, good pacing, and perfect balance of humor, drama and action make this awesome.

Michael Moore is a brilliant documantarian and Sicko shows that well through its emotion, pacing and balance of entertainment and information. However, beware blindly accepting statements in the film as fact as Michael Moore is notorious for misrepresentations -- this film is no exception. Still very worth watching.

Fans of the game this was adapted from may find it more satisfying, but coming in with no prior experience I found it to be a mostly average fantasy show with a few interesting twists. Reasonably fun to watch, but it doesn't quite stand out from the crowd.

This comedy news show is quality TV at its best. Not only is it consistently funny, it is often a better source of news than traditional sources. Jon Stewart often pulls off some probing and insightful interviews.

Any fans of the New Zealand novelty music scene will love this show. I hope they make a second season -- it was definitely one of the best new shows this year.

Gib-tastic. More gore per second than about any movie I have seen, and it is GOOD gore. Nearly non-stop action, AND it can make you feel good by heightening your awareness of the war-torn country of Burma and your awareness of juicy, flying, spurting, meaty gibs.

One of those movies that you have to watch more than once to "get it," then you want to watch it over and over. At times hilarious and at times heart-wrenching. A wonderful road trip.

A fantastic and disturbing Korean flick that gets more and more twisted as the story goes on. This movie is very violent and contains some very graphic scenes. A must watch for those who can stomach it.

This movie is unrealistic, cheesy, has poor acting and production values, but still manages to be completely awesome. The whole movie is a thinly veiled jab at Microsoft's practices from their more evil days, and the casting of Tim Robins as a evil villain version of Bill Gates is inspired.
